At Trusted Pet Care Services, we’re passionate about enhancing the well-being of your furry, feathered, and scaled companions. Our comprehensive pet services are designed to nurture their physical, emotional, and spiritual health, as well as provide trustworthy, caring pet-sitting services. We offer Pet Sitting in the North Simcoe Region in Ontario, Canada, and holistic health care from wherever you and your pet live anywhere in the world.
Our Services
Pet Sitting
Pets can be nervous when their humans are away. For this reason, we believe it's essential for them to be cared for in their own home. We'll make sure your much-loved furkids are well-fed, walked, and loved while you are away.

We'll also look after your home, making sure your mail is brought in and your home is secure.
We're LGBTQ+ friendly (pets and humans!), trustworthy, and trained in St. John's Ambulance Pet First Aid, and Reiki for animals. More healing modalities are currently underway.
Animal Reiki
Since animals can't share post-treatment feedback, it can be difficult to definitively outline the benefits of Animal Reiki. However, as an experienced practitioner, I’ve observed that Reiki can support animals in various ways, including:

Reducing stress

Calming destructive behaviors

Easing pain

Improving or regulating appetite

Helping heal past traumas

Accelerating the recovery process

Treatment is a little different than it is for humans. Practitioners don't put their hands directly on the animal unless the animal physically puts themselves into that position.

Treatment is often given from a distance (i.e., the practitioner's home) or in the room with the animal while allowing the animal to choose the trajectory and duration of the treatment.

Once upon a time, I was under the mistaken assumption that animal communicators were a little bit on the flakey side. I have since learned that is a very undeserved stereotype. We had a fantastic communicator who gave us some helpful insights about our boys.

I am currently training under the amazing and lovely Sheila Trecartin, in Animal Communication, and I will soon be adding other healing modalities designed to support animals on many levels. Stay tuned!

Bio for Kari Klassen
I wasn't planning on going into animal care, but life is a funny place to be, and one day, after a conversation with a wise teacher of mine, I realized there was no more important job I could ever do than provide safe sanctuary for animals (in their own homes) and learn some important healing methods to make their lives a better place. It's the least we can do for our best friends.

As a pet parent of two very loved, often high-energy dogs (despite what they may look like in the picture!), I know what it feels like to worry about my pets when I am away or worry because they are not feeling their best.
​
It's essential to have the right person in your home caring for your pet or providing treatment for their recovery or peace of mind. I take great pride in being that trusted person.

Whether it’s belly rubs, playtime in the yard, or gentle walks around the neighborhood, I treat every pup like one of my own. As a proud co-parent with my mom-in-law of two Shih Tzus, I understand how important it is to know your furry friend is safe, happy, and loved while you're away.
I’m comfortable with small to medium sizes and all temperaments, and I always follow your instructions closely to keep routines consistent. From cuddly companions to energetic explorers, I’m here to provide care, comfort, and plenty of tail wags.

Hi, we’re Salty and Pepper—and we love Melanie! We are 3 year old Shih Tzu's and Melanie has been looking after us since we were 6 months old.
When our human goes away, we get to stay with Melanie, and honestly… it’s kind of the best. She takes us on three walks a day (yes, three!), gives the best belly rubs, and lets us sleep in her bed—right where we belong. She doesn’t let us get away with too much though… we know she’s the boss, and we’re okay with that because she’s fair (and has snacks).
Melanie treats us like we’re her own pups, and we always feel safe, loved, and happy with her. 10/10 would stay again. Woof!

Hello everyone we are Carmen and Electra!
We want to tell you about our dog sitting family when our mom and dad go away--Melanie, Rylee, and Ross, who we are so lucky to have live down the street. We even try to pop in when we go for our walks for hugs and kisses! They also let us sleep in their bed. Yep! It’s just like home: cuddling, walks, treats. We even heard our mom and dad talking about how awesome it is to never have to worry when they are away because they know we are well cared for. What a relief for them.
We wish mom and dad would go away more just so we could go again. Let's keep that our little secret.
